Universal Avionics released field loadable upgrade kits for FMS Software Control Number 802.7 and 802.8 in order to facilitate compliance with Service Bulletin 2XXX.X.X-34-3307 “Erroneous FMS Operation during a Holding Pattern Course Reversal Approach Transition.”

SCN 802.8 is the recommended version to upgrade to however some aircraft approvals may require 802.7.  Not all facilities are approved for both upgrades.  Look at the map below for Universal Dealers Authorized to perform the upgrades on-wing at their facility.
