Universal Avionics documents problems reported during database processing and how they were resolved, and problems found with the data after delivery. This information is updated every database processing cycle, or when a change occurs.
Universal Avionics receives navigation data from multiple data suppliers: specifically, Jeppesen Sanderson, Inc (Jeppesen), Navtech, Inc. (Navtech), and the FAA National Aeronautical Navigation Services (AeroNav Services).
Databases purchased directly from Universal Avionics are created with Jeppesen source data, unless otherwise noted. Database part number 802-NFD is created from the National Flight Database (NFD) supplied by FAA AeroNav Services.
Databases created with Navtech source data are purchased through Navtech. These include part numbers 802-N2, 802-N5, 802-NH, 1000-N2, 1000-N5, and 1000-NH. The Universal Avionics Type 2 LOA currently does not apply to any database created with Navtech data.

As the holder of a Type 1 LOA, Jeppesen is required by regulatory agencies to report Jeppesen Modified Data to end users. The listing of Jeppesen Modified Data is provided in the Uninet portion of our website. All data modified by Jeppesen should be considered fit for aeronautical use.

As the holder of a Type 1 LOA, Navtech is required by regulatory agencies to report data modified by Navtech to end users. The notification of data alteration is included in the Navtech Statement of ARINC 424 Type 1 Database Release.
The Universal Avionics Type 2 LOA currently does NOT include databases created with Navtech source data.
