Navigation Database Notices and Alerts

Universal Avionics documents problems reported during database processing and how they were resolved, and problems found with the data after delivery. This information is updated every database processing cycle, or when a change occurs.

Universal Avionics receives navigation data from multiple data suppliers: specifically, Jeppesen Sanderson, Inc (Jeppesen), Navtech, Inc. (Navtech), and the FAA Aeronautical Navigation Products (AeroNav Products).

Databases purchased directly from Universal Avionics are created with Jeppesen source data, unless otherwise noted. Database part number 1000-NFD is created from the Coded Instrument Flight Procedures (CIFP) supplied by FAA AeroNav Products.

Databases created with Navtech source data are purchased through Navtech. These include part numbers 802-N2, 802-N4, 802-NH, 802-NAB2, 1000-N2, 1000-N4, 1000-NH, and 1000-NAB2.

Database part number 1000-NFD is created from the Coded Instrument Flight Procedures (CIFP) supplied by FAA AeroNav Products. Alerts in this section pertain only to the 1000-NFD database.

Universal Avionics documents problems reported during database processing and how they were resolved, and problems found with the data after delivery. This information is updated every database processing cycle, or when a change occurs.

FAA AeroNav Products is a State aeronautical information service (AIS); therefore, is not required to supply UASC with notice of modified data.
