Tucson, AZ – October 19, 2010 – Universal Avionics is pleased to announce the release of FlightReview™ FMS Flight Data Reduction and Playback Software. FlightReview™ allows operators of Universal Avionics’ WAAS/SBAS-FMS to upload flight plan data from the FMS into the PC-based program to view or "play back" past flights and approaches in an intuitive, easy-to-use interface. The program combines FMS action sequences with a 3D rendering of the flight plan over Google Earth™ for a virtual view from the pilot’s seat of any previously recorded flight. Universal Avionics expects the program to become a valuable tool for demonstrations, training, quality assurance and entertainment purposes. The program features 5 playback speeds, 3 seek forward/backward speeds, "jump-to" next FMS poweron and next CDU key press, and the ability to place event markers and bookmarks to easily search for specific events during flight. Operators can review CDU page and key press actions along with aircraft position, speed and altitude. An extended flight path overlay in the Google Earth window provides 3D trajectory of flight plan ahead of present position. FlightReview™ software also contains an internal data reduction and export tool for advanced flight data analysis. FlightReview™ is compatible with Universal Avionics’ WAAS/SBAS-FMSs operating software version (SCN) 1000.4/1100.4 and later. The program is available from Universal Avionics by calling 1-800-321- 5253 or (520) 295-2300. More information may be found at www.uasc.com/FlightReview. About Universal Avionics Universal Avionics manufactures and markets an extensive line of advanced avionics equipment.
