Tucson, AZ – July 10, 2009 – Dan Reida, Vice President of Marketing for Universal Avionics Systems Corporation, announced that Carey Miller has been hired to fill the newly created position of U.S. Western Region Marketing Manager. Mr. Miller will be responsible for the overall growth and development of Universal product sales in the Western region, which includes California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, and Nevada. Mr. Miller will be based out of Tucson, Arizona.

With over 20 year’s experience, Mr. Miller brings extensive knowledge of aviation sales to his new position. Prior to joining Universal Avionics, Mr. Miller held the positions of Account Manager at Rockwell Collins and as a corporate pilot flying various corporate aircraft.
Mr. Miller is a member of the NBAA International Operators’ Conference planning committee, holds a commercial multi-engine instrument rating with type ratings in the Challenger 604 and Beechjet 400a.
