Program / Project Manager
Universal Avionics Systems Corporation is looking for three experienced Program or Project Managers for our Southeast Engineering Division located in Duluth, GA. UASC is a leader in the aviation industry with a 30 year history of innovation and market leadership in designing, developing, certifying, and manufacturing of avionics. The ideal candidates will have BS in Engineering with 3+ years project management experience including technical management, scheduling, project planning and budgeting. Experience in aviation, embedded hardware development and embedded software development. Design and certification experience for avionics systems (EFIS, air data computers, AHRS, autopilots, weather radar, radios etc.) is highly desirable.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate information and daily activities for multi-functional product teams
- Development and maintenance of project plan
- Development and maintenance of project schedule
- Develop task order and project proposal efforts for new work
- Develop staffing plans and assist in recruiting activities.
- Report project status to upper management
- Support product development throughout all of the lifecycle stages from development through production
