The Research and Development facility of Universal Avionics in Redmond, Washington, is looking for a Systems Engineer for a year-long contract.

The ideal candidate will have systems engineering with GIS experience, preferably in the aerospace industry.  A Bachelor of Science engineering degree with a minimum of five years’ experience is also required.

This position will be a core systems engineer on team developing infrastructure, processes and specifications for DO-200A databases including elevation, water, airport and obstacles.

Familiarity with DO-200A database specifications and FAA AC 20-153A database approval guidance is strongly preferred. GIS experience with land cover and elevation data is preferred as well.
