The Research and Development facility of Universal Avionics in Redmond, Washington, is looking for a Systems Engineer to work on design, development, and verification of our communication related products.
The right candidate will have experience with definition and documentation of systems/software requirements, test procedures, formal verification and test reports.
Preferred experience to include reducing industry standards and specifications to clear, concise requirements from which software can be designed and coded.
Additionally, a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree or related experience is also required.
Desired qualifications include understanding of embedded avionics product development and knowledge of DO-178, DO-160 and DO-254. ACARS, ATN, and/or VHF Data Link experience would be a plus.
