The Research and Development facility of Universal Avionics in Redmond, Washington, is looking for a temp-to-hire engineer/test technician for the Engineering Services Organization. 

The right candidate will have:

• Experience developing product test plans/procedures
• Development of test software using test development tools and languages including LabWindows Cvi and LabView
• Circuit design and schematic generation.

The qualified candidate will be able to setup, operate, and interpret results from standard and special purpose test equipment such as multi-meters, signal generators, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and automatic test equipment. Work with analog and digital circuits, logic circuits, integrated circuits and microprocessors. Follow written and verbal instructions to assist engineers in the setup, development, and/or qualification of products and/or test equipment. Review hardware design and recommend design for test strategies.  Design and implement stand-alone automated test fixtures and procedures.

Qualifications:

• AA degree in Electronic technology or equivalent knowledge through work experience
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Able to work independently in an efficient manner
• Demonstrated writing skills
• Good communication skills
• Proficient PC skills
