Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the management of the test systems department.

Competency:

Leading the development of engineering and production test equipment hardware and software, performance of qualification testing, maintenance and sustaining support of fielded production test equipment, and repair and maintenance of production circuit cards and subassemblies. Developing qualification test plans and reports, test equipment specifications and other related documentation, procedures and reports. Analysis of manpower requirements and establishment and tracking of overhead and capital budgets.

Qualifications:

• Education: BSEE or equivalent.
• Experience: 10+ yrs experience in test engineering including 2+ yrs in a management/supervisory position.
• Language: see education.
• Math: see education.
• Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions.
• Computer Skills: MS Office.
  
  

Work Environment:

General office setting with occasional exposure to high noise level in laboratory.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb, stoop, or kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities require close and distance vision..
